The staff is extremely accommodating and accommodating, that's an advantage. It has marvellous and beautiful location in quiet neighborhood, in a fairly quiet area. Also, it's minutes from Lock Chicago Escape Rooms and other tourist sights.

This is surely the best small hotel, fairly friendly staff, luxurious rooms. The property's location is fantastic and particularly good, really close to shops, restaurants, train and Northwestern University, with an amazing collection of clocks, and stores and restaurants. One of tourist spots - Bethany Baptist Church - is just a pleasant stroll away from the venue, really enjoyed that. They have a rooftop bar. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting Northwestern for a speaking engagement. Hotel was ideally located, a good value, and appealing in a quirky way. Staff was extremely helpful/friendly.
The continental breakfast is mediocre.

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The history of the building was really interesting and the building itself was very cool. I definitely would prefer this over a similarly-priced boring, corporate hotel chain.
The shared bathroom was not my favorite; there are stalls for the showers, stalls for the sinks and stalls for the toilets. They do give you a bathrobe for walking there.

We would definitely recommend this hotel. We absolutely loved our stay here. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location of the hotel, right by the Davis subway station, made it easy for us to explore numerous sites. Our room was fantastic - we had a king bed, central heating, a comfortable seating area, and a spacious work desk. our experience at the Margarita European Inn was superb!

I loved this place! I want to come back. It is a unique property - VERY clean and comfortable. It is special and not a cookie-cutter mundane chain motel. It is a 1920's historical women's club now welcoming hotel guests. It has all the historical charm - NOT gutted and remodeled - so it may not be everyone's choice. I really liked the distinction and the VERY friendly staff.
I liked it completely and I like an unusual and special experience off the beaten track.
